Family or Internal Medicine Physician needed for long term coverage with option to extend in Corning, CA!

Job description

- Target Start: April or May 2024
- Long term coverage for 6 months with option to extend!
- Schedule: 40 hours per week / Preferably M-F 8 hr days / will also accept 4 days per week at 10 hours / No on-call
- Setting: Outpatient family practice
- Family practice patients, some acute care walk in
- Required Procedures: Joint injection, trigger point, preferred but not required
- Types of cases: Chronic care, multiple complexity, high volume of diabetic, HTN, COPD, CHF
- Rural Health Clinic, open 5 years offering: Primary Care, Acute Care, Pediatrics, Podiatry
- Patient volume expected 18 minimum, higher if acute care is scheduled. Initially patient visits for the first couple of weeks will be scheduled at 40 minute intervals to allow the provider to get oriented and comfortable.
- EMR: Cerner Ambulatory
- Support Staff: Medical Assistant
- Orientation is typically 1-2 weeks. Cerner experience can reduce this time to around 1 week.
- Credentialing timeframe: 30 days minimum
- $1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
