RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnered with a hospital in southeastern New Hampshire that has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner to provide locum Palliative Care coverage.

Opening Details:

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-6p, off on Tuesday
No call shifts
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient, fully on-site
Patient Ages: 18+
Patient Volume: 6-8 per day
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses

QUALIIFICATIONS

Geriatrics a plus but not required
Current, unrestricted, active license to practice medicine
Current DEA registration
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Hampshire
Board certification in Family Practice or Palliative Care
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a primary care setting.
Strong proficiency in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
Be highly collaborative, and enjoy leading care teams with a patient-centric orientation
Confident in his/her ability to deliver high quality primary care, which includes being available to patients and addressing their medical and social needs
Driven to care for those with comorbid conditions, the elderly and/or medically underserved
