Urgent Care APP Needed in OR (Evenings)

Location: Portland

Specialty: Urgent Care - Will be doing both Urgent and Primary Care, must be okay with this!

Start Date: May

Contract Length: 6 months for straight locums (will consider 3 months for locum to perm candidates - if subbing Locum to perm please note at top of sub!)

Shift Details: Evenings (10 hr weekdays, 9 hr weekends)

Scheduled appointments - no staying late to work through a waiting room full of patients

Schedule Options:
o Rotating Wed-Sat/Th-Sat Schedule: Wednesday: 2:00- Midnight, Thursday/Friday: 2:00-Midnight, Saturday: 3:00-Midnight
o Rotating Sun-Wed/Sun-Tues Schedule: Sunday: 3:00p-12:00, Monday: 2:00p-12:00, Tuesday: 2:00p -12:00, Wednesday: 2:00-12:00

Work Details:
· Support staff: MA and office staff, most clinics are solo coverage, some double staffed - will be discussed in interview.
· Amount of coverage needed per month:
· Patients per day: 18-22 per day – LOW for Urgent Care
· Patient population/age: All ages
· Department description: Outpatient Urgent Care
· Skills required: Suturing, digital blocks, vaccinations, splinting, wart/cyst/mole removal
· Special procedures: standard urgent care procedures

Practice Setting:
• Outpatient Urgent Care

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes - FNP
· License required: OR license in hand strongly preferred, willing to consider licensing candidates
· DEA: Yes
· Certifications preferred: ACLS
· Minimum experience required: 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days from offer to start date with license in hand, 120 days from offer to start date without license in hand at time of offer
