JOB DESCRIPTION

A hospital in western New Hampshire with an opening for a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum Hospitalist coverage.

Opening Overview:

Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 2p-12a, 1 week per month
No call shifts
Daily Volume: 0-4 admissions
May help with rounding
Will run codes
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Paid travel & expenses

QUALIFICATIONS

Current DEA registration
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of New Hampshire
Board certification Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Strong proficiency in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
Be highly collaborative, and enjoy leading care teams with a patient-centric orientation
Confident in his/her ability to deliver high quality primary care, which includes being available to patients and addressing their medical and social needs
