Long Beach Temp PCP Needed ASAP at Out-Patient Clinic

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a FM PCP locum to help with coverage during 2-3 month leave.
• Start Date: 5/26/25
• Schedule would be M-F 8am-5pm
• 7 hours of patient contact time with 1 hour for charting/documentation per day.
• Must be able to see all ages
• Prior Epic EMR experience plus
• Local (LA/LB/OC) candidates only

JOB DETAILS:
• Specialty/Unit/Profession: FMP (PCP)
• Shift: 5x8, Days (8a-5p; patients from 8a-4:30p) Clock out for lunch. (Time worked = 8 hours.)
• Duration of contract: 13+ Weeks
• Practice Setting: Primary Care / Internal Medicine
• Ave. Daily Census: 18-20
• Procedures (if applicable): Common outpatient IM procedures (biopsies, sutures, etc.)
• Board Certifications: Preferred but not required
• License Certifications: Must have unrestricted CA medical license, DEA certificate, BLS or ACLS
• State License: CA Required
• CSR: Must have a DEA
• DEA: Must have a DEA
• Years of Exp. Required: Must have at least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience
• Support Staff: Yes, there is support staff (practice manager, front office supervisor, medical assistants, patient care associates, etc.

• Able to Treat All Ages
• 18-20 patients/day
• Local Candidates a Plus!
