Pediatrician Needed in South Florida Clinic

Job description

We are a compassionate and family-centered pediatric practice serving the community with high-quality care for newborns, children, and adolescents. We are seeking a pediatrician, preferably board-certified, to provide coverage while our primary physician is on leave.

The Locum Tenens Pediatric Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including well visits, sick visits, follow-up care, and vaccine administration, if needed. You will work alongside experienced medical assistant and registered nurse in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
> Provide pediatric patient care (ages 0–21) in an outpatient setting
> Conduct well-child checks, acute visits, and developmental screenings
> Document visits accurately using our EHR
> Prescribe medications and vaccinations as per AAP guidelines
> Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow
> Communicate with families in a clear, compassionate, and professional manner

Schedule
> Clinic Hours:
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Wednesday and Friday
12:00 PM - 6:30 PM on Monday and Thursday
> No on-call or hospital responsibilities
> Average patient load: 12–18 patients per day

Compensation
> Competitive daily rate or hourly rate (to be discussed)
> Malpractice coverage provided (if not already in place)
> Assistance with onboarding provided

• One Week in July (and future one or 2 week engagements as needed)
• No Call
• Well child visits, Sick Visits, Immunizations
