Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Locum Needed | Community Health Center | Rural South Carolina
Job description
A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in rural South Carolina is seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for long-term locum coverage. The clinic is focused on serving underserved communities and is in need of 6+ months of consistent support to ensure continuity of care while recruiting permanent staff.
Position Overview:
Schedule Options:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
OR Mon/Fri 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Tues 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sat 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Patient Volume: 20–25 patients per day
Patient Population: All ages
Case Type: Bread and butter primary care – outpatient only
EMR: eClinicalWorks (ECW)
Requirements:
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
BLS & ACLS required
South Carolina Controlled Substance License required
6-month minimum commitment strongly preferred
Prior FQHC or CHC experience a plus, but not required
