Assignment Details

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Schedule: Ongoing long-term assignment working alongside 3 staff physicians

1 week on / 3 weeks off rotation

Monday 7:00 AM – following Monday 7:00 AM

Inpatient coverage: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Night call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Setting: Inpatient

Patients per shift: 10–12

Providers Needed: 1

Skills & Responsibilities

Critical care–focused role requiring expertise in advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support

Must be fully proficient in:

ECMO management (VV & VA)

Impella (both VV & VA)

Durable LVADs

Serve as primary attending for ECMO and LVAD cases

Participate actively in the hospital’s Shock Program

Requirements

Board Certification: Required

License: Active WA medical license or IMLC eligible

Fellowship: Advanced Heart Failure fellowship preferred

Certifications: ACLS, BLS required

Credentialing timeframe: ~90 days
