Location: Warm Springs, MT

Start: November

13-week assignment

Shift Details: 4x10s days

Minimum experience required: 2 years

MT License in hand preferred

Rate is all inclusive for provided lodging and mileage

Communal Housing - Shared kitchen, living room, and bathroom. Individual Bedroom

On Call: One weekend in 4 working days overnight, and 1-2 weekday nights

Support staff: RN's, LPN's
Patients per day: 10-15
Patient population/age: 18-89
Hospital bed size: 155

Division: Addictive & Mental Disorders (AMDD)

Major Duties or Responsibilities:
A. Direct Patient Care 50%
B. Unit and Hospital Treatment Team Functions 35%
C. Treatment Team Responsibilities 10%
D. Hospital Wide Peer Services 5%

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Behaviors):
Required for the first day of work:
• Extensive and advanced knowledge of medical advanced practice nursing.
• Understanding of individual and team approaches to treatment and therapy for mental health illness.
• Knowledge of professional standards of practice for healthcare professionals in different disciplines, in medical clinic settings, and for the operation of a healthcare facility.
• Effective interviewing and information gathering techniques.
• Ability to effectively utilize knowledge and skills and apply them to practical assessment and treatment modalities for patients.
• Ability to compose and provide information in the form of reports and complete clinical documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
• Ability to analyze, assemble, and organize information.
• Functionality in the use of communication technology.
• Ability to operate personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, including using spreadsheets, word processing, database, email, internet, and other computer programs.

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):
• Masters’ Degree from an accredited APRN program as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Licensed as APRN in the State of Montana; prescriptive authority with assignment of DEA number.
• Two years of experience providing patient care preferably as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the State of Montana.
