Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced APRN to provide full-time coverage in the Addictive & Mental Disorders Division starting in November with the option to transition to perm. Enjoy a 4x10 schedule, limited call, and a supportive interdisciplinary team environment.

Assignment Details:
• Start Date: November 2025
• Contract Length: 3 months (Locums to Perm option)
• Schedule: Full-time, 4x10-hour day shifts per week
• On-Call: 1 weekend per month (overnight) + 1–2 weekday nights per month
• Provide direct patient care, medical oversight, and treatment planning for adult patients (ages 18–89)
• Average 10–15 patients per day
• Work alongside RN and LPN support staff
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and treatment teams
• Hospital size: 155 beds

Key Responsibilities:
• Direct patient care: evaluations, prescribing, treatment planning, follow-ups
• Collaborate with nursing and treatment teams on patient care plans
• Documentation and compliance with hospital/state/federal standards
• On-call responsibilities for medical coverage

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree from an accredited APRN program
• Licensed APRN in Montana with prescriptive authority & DEA (MT license in hand preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, ideally as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• BLS required
