Facility in Torrington, CT seeking Urgent Care APP locums coverage

Rates: $120/hr
Opportunity Highlights
Flexible Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-8p, Saturday & Sunday 9a-5p
Outpatient-Only: This position is exclusively for outpatient primary care services; there is no on-call requirement.
Gradual Patient Load: You'll start with a ramp-up period and gradually build up to an average of 18 patients per day. The patient population is adults, aged 18 and older.
Also how many patients per hour or per shift? Depends on the location but some are up to 3 encounters per hour.
8+ per month is the minimal availability required to apply.
Supportive Environment: You may work solo once established, but you'll be part of a team that includes at least one other physician and an APP. The locum provider will not be responsible for supervising mid-level providers.
Well-Established Practice: You will be stepping into a practice with two full patient panels available, providing a steady caseload from the start.
Credentialing: The credentialing process is estimated to take 90 days.
Contract Details: Overtime is available daily after 8 hours and weekly after 168 hours.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care services to an adult patient population (18+).
Manage a full patient panel, handling new and follow-up appointments.
Work collaboratively with the existing clinic staff to ensure excellent patient care.
Provider Requirements
Credential: Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) is preferred, but we are open to a strong Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).
Licensure: An active Connecticut license is required.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS are preferred, but not required.
