Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (Family NP or Adult NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their student health clinic team on a part-time basis. The role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to students in a campus-based health center that offers both free and low-cost services.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary provider in the clinic, delivering direct patient care
Assess, diagnose, and treat minor illnesses and injuries
Provide reproductive and sexual health services, including counseling and testing
Manage mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and insomnia
Support immunization administration and smoking cessation programs
Conduct 8-10 patient visits per day, with appointment lengths ranging from 20-60 minutes
Utilize NextGen EMR for documentation and charting
Collaborate as needed with the medical director, who is available by phone and can serve as a collaborating physician for PA

Requirements:

Active NP (Family or Adult) or PA license
Comfortable seeing patients ages 16 and up
Prior experience in primary care, urgent care, or college health preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• 3 consistent days per week between Monday and Thursday
• Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
