Contract Length: 2 months
Coverage Type: Scheduled – No Call
Location: Denver, CO
Schedule:
3–4 days per week (M–F, 8a–5p with 1-hour unpaid lunch)
Monthly schedules will be released in advance
Practice Setting:
Hospital-affiliated clinics (Denver Health Main Campus, Bernard F. Gipson Sr. Eastside Family Health Center, or Sam Sandos Westside Health Center)
Department: Women’s Health / OB
Hospital Size: ~525 beds
EMR: Epic
Work Details:
Support Staff: Strong support team including nursing, OB/GYN, and primary care providers
Patients per day: 18–22
Population: Women (ages 13+), pregnant patients
Procedures: IUD insertion, Nexplanon, ultrasound, paracervical blocks preferred but not required
Patient Demographics: Low-income population, high behavioral health comorbidities, large Spanish-speaking population (bilingual highly preferred)
Requirements:
Certification: Certified Nurse Midwife (required)
State License: Active CO license required (not willing to license)
DEA: Required
CSR: Not required
Certifications: BLS & ACLS required
Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred
Must be comfortable serving underserved populations with complex health needs
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days
