Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) for an ICU/PCU coverage opportunity in Southwest Virginia starting January 2026.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: January 2026
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
• Schedule: Flexible — options include 3 on or 7 on rotation
• Shift: 13 hours, 7p–8a

Facility Details
• Setting: Hospital
• EMR: Epic

Job Details
• Write progress notes and provide primary management for post-op ICU patients (including thoracic surgery).
• Procedures: Provider may place lines if desired (not required).
• Must have experience with LVAD & ECMO.

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• Experience: Prefer providers with cardiac surgery or critical care–specific background
