Family Practice Locum Position in Richmond, VA

Location: Richmond, VA - Acute Care Hospital
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care in a community health center setting. The physician will manage acute and chronic conditions, provide preventive care, coordinate referrals, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered, culturally competent care.

Key Highlights:

Performs physical exams, orders and interprets lab and imaging studies, and develops treatment plans

Provides care for patients of all ages, including preventive and behavioral health services

Participates in procedures within scope of training, including surgical, obstetrical, gynecological, and critical care as needed

Collaborates with specialists and supports quality improvement initiatives

Opportunity to teach residents, practitioners, and medical students

Qualifications:

MD or DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine

Active Virginia medical license (or eligible)

Experience in outpatient primary care and working with diverse patient populations

• Ongoing for 3 months
• Full time | Mon-Fri | 8 hour shifts
