Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (8-hour shifts, may run over)
Coverage Type: Scheduled + On-Call (nights and weekends required)

October 13 – November 3, 2025

November 17 – November 25, 2025

December 15 – December 28, 2025

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Clinician (PA or NP) with First Assist experience to support a CVT surgeon in Reno, NV. The provider will assist in surgical procedures, manage intraoperative tasks, and participate in patient care coordination.

Details

Primary Role: First Assist in cardiovascular/thoracic surgeries

Schedule: 8-hour days on site (Monday–Friday); must be available for cases as needed

Call: Night and weekend call required

Typical Case Load: Most surgeries occur early in the week; Thursday is typically the last surgery day

Preferred Skills: Vein harvesting experience strongly preferred

Requirements

Active PA or NP license (Nevada license preferred or willingness to obtain)

First Assist experience required; CVT experience strongly preferred

Ability to take night and weekend
