Hematology/Oncology NP/PA Needed in Bay Area CA:
Start Date: Jan 2026
Contract Length: 6 months ongoing
Schedule: full time, either 5x8 or 4x10 days, weekends required
Work Details:
Support staff: APPs drive a lot of work on their own either by primary onc provider or nurses coming to them with new issues. APP manages adverse reactions, transfers, and direct admissions with ED.
Procedures: N/A – removing lines preferred
Amount of coverage needed per month: full time only
Patient population/age: adults
Skills required:
Patient care management of specific disease groups in oncology
Experience in managing onc patients from diagnosis through treatment
Oncology inpatient exp preferred
Facility works directly with inpatient services
Practice Setting:
outpatient
Hospital
Requirements:
Board Certification: Adult Outpatient (A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
Certifications preferred: OCN or AOCNP
Minimum experience required: 2-3 years required working in specific oncology areas. Infusion experience preferred. Must have some inpatient or high acuity expereince. Will not consider providers who only have outpatient exp. Will condier BMT and hematology experience.

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
Active CA License Required
