Locum Opportunity – Pulmonologist | Virginia

Job description

Location: Virginia (floating between two sister facilities)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Duration: 1–2 weeks per month
Start Date: Ongoing need

Coverage Details

Shift Structure: Daily shifts, 8a–6p

Frequency: 1–2 weeks per month

Call: No required night call, but availability for inpatient consults is preferred

Work Details

Primary Focus: Black Lung Clinic coverage

Patient Volume: 5–10 patients per day

Patient Population: Varying age groups

Support Staff: Respiratory Therapists and Black Lung Team

EMR Systems: Epic and DOL

Requirements

Board Certification: Required (Pulmonary Disease)

State License: Active Virginia license required (no willingness to license)

Certifications: BLS and ACLS required

DEA: Required

Vaccinations: Influenza and MMR required

Additional Screening: Name clear and NPI number required (per medical staff)

Credentialing

Timeframe: 90–120 days
