FNP opening new New Port Richey, FL. Occ Health/Workers Comp Exp needed. Can you help?

Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide care in an outpatient occupational health and primary care setting in New Port Richey, Fl. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational medicine, workers’ compensation, and walk-in clinic care.

Date needed: 10/30-12/31. M-F. Travel and lodging.

Key Details:

Patient Ages: 2 years and older

Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years

DEA: Required (some sites dispense medications)

DOT Certification: Needed

Dispensary License: Preferred, not required

EMR: Athena (experience preferred, not required)

Average Patient Volume: Up to 3 per hour

Support Staff: Clinical team on-site

Scope of Practice:

Occupational Health & Workers’ Compensation cases

Non-DOT & DOT drug testing

Pre-employment and public safety physicals

Acute episodic and chronic condition management

Wellness and prevention programs

No pain management

Qualifications:

Active NP license and national certification

At least 2 years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or family practice

Ability to see pediatric patients (ages 2+)
