Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Pediatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide short-term coverage at a pediatric facility in northern California. This position offers a focused clinical schedule, hands-on surgical involvement, and an opportunity to work within a highly specialized pediatric team.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: November 2025 or later
• Contract Length: Short-term (4 total workdays)
• Schedule: One day of orientation and three scheduled 12-hour shifts (travel days not included)
• Scheduling Notice: Final dates provided with a 10-day notice
• Floating may be required (transportation coordinated by Aya)

Work Details
• Specialty: Pediatric Surgery
• Board: PCP-AC (Pediatric Primary Care – Acute Care)
• Skills Required: Pediatric surgical experience; must be pediatric acute care boarded
• Certifications: PALS and BLS (AHA required)
• EMR: Epic

Practice Setting
• Pediatric Surgery

Requirements
• License: Active California NP license required
• Board Certification: Required in pediatric acute care
• Minimum Experience: Prior pediatric surgery experience required
• Travel and lodging are fully coordinated
