The nurse practitioner will deliver comprehensive family medicine services to adult patients in a correctional facility environment, managing diverse primary care cases including chronic disease management and preventive healthcare services. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, treating acute illnesses, and maintaining accurate medical records while seeing 18-20 patients during standard business hours with no call requirements. The clinician will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with potential for four 10-hour shifts, collaborating with registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the specialized correctional healthcare delivery framework.
