About the clinician's workday

The physician will deliver comprehensive family medicine care to adult patients in a corrections facility environment, managing diverse primary care cases during standard business hours. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, managing chronic medical conditions, providing preventive healthcare services, and treating acute illnesses while maintaining accurate medical records in the Naphcare EMR system. The clinician will see approximately 18-20 patients daily with no call requirements, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or potentially four 10-hour shifts, collaborating with registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes within the specialized corrections healthcare delivery framework.
