Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician to provide ongoing full-time coverage at a clinic-based practice in Arizona. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, a strong focus on preventive care, and the chance to serve a diverse pediatric population in a supportive outpatient setting.
Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP (as early as April 2026)
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Call: No call required
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
Work Details
• Specialty: Pediatrics (Primary Care)
• Patient Population: Pediatric patients (all ages within peds)
• Practice Focus: Preventive care, diagnostics, and treatment in an outpatient setting
• Key Responsibilities:
o Deliver evidence-based pediatric care aligned with current clinical guidelines
o Perform developmental screenings and manage immunization schedules
o Provide EPSDT-compliant evaluations and care
o Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Schedule Volume: Full-time coverage (patient volume varies by clinic)
• Support Staff: Dedicated clinical and administrative team

Practice Setting
• Outpatient Clinic / Private Practice
Requirements
• Board Certification: Board Certified in Pediatrics (required)
• License: Active Arizona license or IMLC eligibility
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: BLS required; PALS preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in outpatient family practice or similar setting preferred; community health experience a plus
