The facility operates with experienced nursing staff including 6 RNs per shift with a Charge RN and 2 surgical technicians per shift to support optimal patient outcomes. The institution maintains established protocols for both routine and emergency obstetric care with weekend coverage capabilities and focuses on inpatient care services.

About the clinician's workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services through rotating 12-hour day shifts (7 AM to 7 PM), night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM), and 24-hour coverage managing labor and delivery cases. Primary responsibilities include triaging all OBED patients, assisting with rounding on labor and postpartum patients, and performing vaginal and cesarean deliveries with operative vaginal delivery capabilities when needed. The position requires managing daily patient admissions ranging from 2-4 during daytime hours and 1-3 overnight while maintaining availability within a 20-minute radius of the hospital during on-call periods. The clinician will perform circumcisions as preferred and provide comprehensive care for both routine and emergency obstetric cases.
