Full-time Rheumatology NP needed in San Antonio, TX!

Job description

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides quality, comprehensive primary health care services to the Clinic's Rheumatology patients consulting with supervising physician and abiding by appropriate clinical protocols. Reports to the Director of Specialty Care related to the delivery of medical care for Rheumatology patients. Position offers a competitive salary and robust recruitment package. Clinic hours (4X10s or 5X8s offered).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree from accredited university in a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
Board Certified AANP, ANCC or related required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Family Medicine
Specialty in Rheumatology or similar specialty preferred
Strong experience with EMR/EMR systems
Must possess a current unrestricted license to practice as a mid-level (NP/PA) in the State of Texas
Annual continuing medical education as required by board specialty
Must be registered and have current DEA
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association
