This 402-bed tertiary referral hospital serves as the flagship facility of a comprehensive health system in west-central Pennsylvania. The medical center is a STEMI-Receiving Center and Primary Stroke Center with teaching capabilities, featuring advanced technology including 2 Hybrid ORs and 3 DaVinci Xi Robotic Surgical Systems to ensure cutting-edge patient care.

Job Details:
• Join a collegial team of 3 Pathologists, 1 Hematopathologist, and 1 Pathologist Assistant
• Full-time hospital-employed position with a stable, long-standing group
• Primarily lab-based role with no inpatient rounding required
• Epic EMR system utilized across hospital and outpatient settings
• Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with excellent work-life balance
• 1:4 home call rotation with minimal call-ins
• Modern laboratory facility handling diverse and interesting caseloads
• Approximately 14,000 surgical cases annually providing excellent learning opportunities
• Minimal autopsy volume (2 last year) but willingness required if contracted support unavailable
