TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time locum opportunity with the option to transition to a permanent position at a well-established outpatient community health clinic in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, team-based practice providing comprehensive primary care to an adult patient population while working alongside experienced clinical support staff and onsite specialty services.

Job Type: Locum with Temp-to-Perm Option

Specialty: Family Medicine / Internal Medicine (NP or PA)

Location: Rocky Mount, North Carolina

Position Highlights
Full-time outpatient opportunity
Locum with potential for permanent employment
Team-based practice environment
Treat primarily adult patients
Average patient volume of 18–22 patients per day
Collaborative support from Medical Assistants, RNs, and LCSWs
Onsite specialty services including:
Pediatrics
OB/GYN
Behavioral Health
X-ray services
Epic EMR
Supervising physician available

Start date: First week of September
(90 days to start, option to extend/transition to perm if desired)


Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday:
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM patient care
12:00 PM – 5:00 PM dedicated administrative time
Lunch break included
Rotating phone-only call (approximately one week at a time)

Requirements
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Minimum 2 years of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine experience
Current North Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
Current BLS certification
Medicare and Medicaid enrollment required
Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Permanent Position Benefits
Base salary: $110,000–$120,000
