OB/GYN Hospitalist Locum Tenens Opportunity | Washington, DC

A busy hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy a high-acuity environment with strong in-house support and resident teaching responsibilities.

Assignment Details
Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: In-house night shifts
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Commitment: 6-12 shifts per month
Setting: Hospital-based OB/GYN coverage
Patient Volume: Busy service

Clinical Responsibilities
Full-scope OB and GYN care
ER consultations (typically 1-2 per shift)
Management of complicated postpartum patients
Back-up coverage for the primary OB/GYN
Supervision of residents
Support Available
Additional in-house OB/GYN attending physician
Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) back-up support
Dedicated call room with bed and shower for locum physicians

Facility Details
Trauma Center: Level III
NICU: Level III
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
Active state medical license required
DEA/CSR can be accommodated if needed
Providers with availability for 6-12 shifts per month are encouraged to apply
