Family Medicine Physician Needed in North Chesterfield, VA | Community Health Center | No Call

Job description

This is a full-time outpatient family medicine opportunity at a community health center in North Chesterfield, Virginia, in the Richmond area, with two openings. The role delivers comprehensive primary care - including preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, prescribing, and coordinating referrals - as part of a multidisciplinary team providing patient-centered, culturally competent care. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00a-6:00p, with no call. Location assignments can rotate across three sites within the Richmond area, and the assignment runs approximately 16 weeks.

The physician sees 25 patients per day, with encounters required to be closed by 8:30a the following morning. A bilingual candidate is preferred.

Candidates should be an MD or DO who has completed an approved family practice residency, with an active Virginia license and current DEA registration; an ECFMG certificate is required if foreign-trained.
