Family Medicine Physician – Outpatient

Job description

* Flexible 3–5 days per week
* 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
* No call
* No weekends required
* No block scheduling

Position Overview

We are seeking a **Locum Family Medicine Physician** to provide outpatient primary care coverage in Gilroy, California. Physicians will care for patients of all ages in a collaborative practice environment, with opportunities to work in traditional outpatient clinics, school-based health centers, and mobile health units based on community needs and provider preference.

Practice Details

* Outpatient primary care
* Epic EMR
* Approximately 18 patients per day (21+ preferred)
* Pediatric through adult patient population
* Standard outpatient Family Medicine procedures
* Credentialing in approximately 30 days

Qualifications

**Required**

* MD or DO
* Active California Medical License (must be active at submission)
* DEA Registration
* BLS Certification
* Minimum of 2 years of Family Medicine experience
* Comfortable treating patients of all ages
* Ability to supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
* Ability to attend a mandatory one-week orientation (Monday–Friday)

**Preferred**

* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
