Nurse Practitioner Needed for Surgical First Assist in Fort Worth, TX

Job description

Nurse Practitioner needed to serve as a surgical first assist at an acute care hospital in Fort Worth, TX, supporting urology (general and uro-oncology), gynecologic oncology, endoscopic surgery, and otology surgical teams. This is an OR-based role (100% of time), serving as the primary first assist; it does not include independent clinic or inpatient management or bedside procedures. Schedule is OR blocks from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on a standard 5-day, 8-hour schedule with no call or weekends. Approximate assignment length is 26 weeks, starting 9/1/2026, ongoing. Requires current board certification in Surgery and a Texas license (can be pending); credentialing timeframe is approximately 60-90 days.
