NP/PA Needed for Men’s Health and Wellness Practice in Glen Allen, Virginia
Men’s Wellness Centers is seeking a Virginia-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for full-time or part-time coverage at our Glen Allen location. Part-time candidates must be available for a consistent minimum of two to three full days per week.
Assignment Details
Location: Glen Allen, Virginia
Setting: Outpatient, membership-based men’s health practice
Patient population: Adult men
Coverage: Full-time or part-time
Part-time minimum: Two to three full days per week
Schedule: Primarily weekdays with limited Saturday coverage
No call, hospital rounds, emergency department coverage, or inpatient responsibilities
No insurance billing
Support from an experienced clinical team and Medical Director
Training in MWC treatment protocols will be provided
Compensation based on experience, credentials, and agreed schedule
Clinical Responsibilities
The provider will conduct new-patient and follow-up evaluations, review laboratory results, develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe and monitor medications, educate patients, and maintain timely clinical documentation.
The practice’s services include:
Testosterone replacement and hormone optimization
Erectile dysfunction evaluation and treatment
Medical weight management
Preventive men’s wellness
Healthy-aging and approved health-optimization services
Patients requiring care outside the practice’s clinical scope are appropriately referred to their primary care provider or a specialist.
Qualifications
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Virginia
Current national board certification
Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one
Strong clinical assessment and medication-management skills
Comfortable discussing sensitive men’s health concerns professionally and respectfully
Able to practice independently while collaborating with the Medical Director and clinical team
Virginia autonomous practice authority for Nurse Practitioners is preferred but not required
Experience in men’s health, hormone therapy, primary care, internal medicine, urology, endocrinology, sexual health, preventive medicine, or medical weight management is helpful but not required
