Job Details:
- Open to both Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- 100% outpatient primary care setting focused on Adult Medicine (18+)
- Excellent opportunity for providers interested in working with a Spanish-speaking population
- Carry your own patient panel and provide quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative team
- Full-time position, weekdays only with flexible scheduling options available
- No call required
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial care plans
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to specialists and care team members
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer appropriately when needed
- Requires an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- APRN (Family, Adult/Geri Nurse Practitioner) or PA training required
- New graduates with strong internal medicine or primary care backgrounds are welcome to apply; 2+ years of experience in a primary care or relevant outpatient setting preferred
