Position Overview
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Internist to join a network of federally qualified community health centers in the Bronx, New York.

This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse and underserved patient population in a mission-driven community healthcare environment. Qualifications
✅ Education: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency program
✅ Licensure: Active state medical license required
✅ Certification: Board Certified
✅ Experience: Understanding of and passion for community healthcare preferred
✅ Clinical Skills: Proficiency in conducting medical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, vaccinations, and other treatments
✅ Technology: Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
✅ Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Professional Skills: Strong clinical judgment, empathy, cultural competence, and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
✅ Language: Bilingual Spanish is preferred

Key Responsibilities
The Internist will provide comprehensive medical care while supporting preventive health, chronic disease management, and community healthcare initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Examining patients and conducting appropriate diagnostic tests to evaluate medical conditions
Reviewing medical histories, records, reports, and test results to establish diagnoses
Prescribing and administering medications, vaccinations, treatments, and other appropriate medical care
Explaining procedures, diagnoses, test results, and treatment plans to patients
Collecting, documenting, and maintaining accurate patient medical information
Referring patients to specialists and other healthcare practitioners when medically necessary
Completing and submitting appropriate progress reports to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
