Once onboarded, providers will collaborate with scheduling personnel by submitting ongoing availability. Scheduling is coordinated to ensure appropriate coverage and alignment with facility needs.

Clinical Responsibilities
Perform pre-operative clearance evaluations
Provide anesthesia coverage for invasive and surgical procedures
Deliver anesthesia services in a correctional healthcare setting
Monitor patients throughout perioperative care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with surgical and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Practice Environment
Secure correctional medicine setting
Fully operational operating room
Facility provides a variety of specialty and surgical services
Structured clinical environment with predictable scheduling needs

Requirements
MD or DO required
Active North Carolina medical license preferred/required per facility requirements
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology preferred
Ability to work independently in a correctional medicine setting
Experience providing anesthesia services for surgical and invasive procedures
