POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage in Michigan. Board-Certified Internal Medicine physicians will also be considered.

The physician will provide adult and general pediatric outpatient care and participate in an after-hours call rotation.

SCHEDULE & COVERAGE

Monday–Friday

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

After-hours call based on rotation

Average of 15–20 patients per day

Start: As soon as credentialed

Assignment through March 5, 2027, with potential for extension

PATIENT POPULATION

90% Adult/Geriatric

10% Pediatric

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Adult outpatient primary care

General pediatric outpatient care

Routine patient evaluations and follow-up

Participation in after-hours call rotation

PRACTICE SETTING & SUPPORT

Medical Assistant and receptionist support

Point-of-care testing

Diagnostic imaging available onsite

EMR

Cerner

REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified in Family Medicine; Internal Medicine physicians will also be considered

Active Michigan medical license required; physicians with a pending Michigan license application may be considered

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Local candidates preferred

Availability must be provided at the time of name clearance

NPDB self-query report dated within 30 days required at presentation

COMPENSATION & TRAVEL

Maximum hourly rate: $180

Orientation paid at 50% of the hourly rate

Malpractice insurance provided

Travel assistance available for car rental, fuel, mileage, and hotel, subject to applicable travel policy

Call-back compensation based on actual patient contact hours

Rental vehicles must be refueled before return
