Permanent | Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner | Northeastern North Carolina

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a full-time, permanent opportunity serving multiple outpatient primary care locations throughout northeastern North Carolina. Clinical Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
Provide medication management, including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications.
Deliver behavioral health services within an integrated primary care setting.
Coordinate care with primary care providers and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide ongoing follow-up care and monitor patient progress.
Educate patients and families regarding behavioral health conditions and treatment options.
Provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals when needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community education efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements
Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
Current Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure.
Unrestricted North Carolina APRN license.
Prescriptive authority and active DEA registration.
Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical patient care experience.
At least 2 years of experience preferred for the PMHNP role.
Primary care experience preferred.

Practice Environment
The organization is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving rural and underserved communities throughout northeastern North Carolina.
