Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) – Pediatric Cardiac Locum Opportunity in Washington, DC:

Assignment Overview:
A facility in Washington, DC is seeking a CAA with strong pediatric and cardiac experience for a 3–6 month locum assignment. This role focuses on caring for complex pediatric, neonatal, and congenital cardiac patients.

Travel:

Local candidates are strongly preferred.

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP (credentialing ~90 days)

Contract Length: 3–6 months

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week + weekend call

End time may vary between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., depending on patient load

EMR: Cerner

Requirements:

Role: Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA)

License: Washington, DC license required ; Willing to License

Certifications: PALS

Experience:

Prefer 1-3 years of experience

Pediatric experience required

Must be willing and able to manage cardiac patients

Congenital cardiac experience strongly preferred

Experience with neonatal pediatrics, complex diseases, and high-acuity cases

Cardiac cases required

Credentialing:

Approximately 90 days
