Job description

A high-acuity Level 1 Trauma Center in Indianapolis is seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) for an ongoing locum assignment starting this fall. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative surgical team in a dynamic hospital environment.

Assignment Overview:
• Start Date: October 1, 2025
• Contract Length: 6 months, with ongoing extension potential
• Schedule: 10 or 13-hour shifts - Voluntary weekends or call available

Clinical Scope:
• Broad inpatient and outpatient caseload including: endoscopy, ERCP, GYN, ENT, dental, plastics, urology, orthopedics, trauma, NORA, general surgery, neuro, and spine cases
• Patient population includes all ages, with some pediatric cases
• Supervised care model: typically 1:2 or 1:4 supervision ratio
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Graduation from a Master’s level anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
• Trauma experience required

Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
