Job description

A busy community hospital and Level 3 Trauma Center in Indiana is seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) for an ongoing locum assignment starting this fall. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative anesthesia team supporting a diverse surgical case mix.

Assignment Overview:
• Start Date: October 1, 2025
• Contract Length: 6 months, with ongoing extension potential
• Schedule: 7 AM – 8 PM, Monday through Sunday rotation

Clinical Scope:
• Variety of surgical cases: endoscopy, ERCP, GYN/OB, ENT, plastics, urology, orthopedics, trauma, NORA, and general surgery
• Adult patient population, mostly Medicare-eligible
• EMR: Cerner
• Level 3 Trauma Center
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient care in a hospital-based environment

Requirements:
• Graduation from a Master’s level anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
• Active Indiana license preferred; hospital will license qualified candidates

Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
