CAA Needed in Texas
Start Date: July 2025 or as soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6 months with option for extension
Schedule: The work week will be a mix of various shift lengths (8s, 10s, 12s and 16s) Mon-Fri to get to 40hrs, depending on the need that week. Saturdays will be elective days from 6:30a-3:30p. This will be 40hrs per week gauranteed.
Call will be 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month. There will be an option to take addtional call if the CAA is interested.
Trauma Level: Level II Trauma
Skills: Cases: Lots of bread and butter and some specialty cardiology/neurosurgery/neurointerventional procedures. The ortho is mostly “bread and butter,” including joint replacements. There is no expectation to do blocks or handle post-op care, the MDs take care of that. It would be nice if they are comfortable doing spinals, but it is not a deal breaker if not.
