1-2 CRNAs needed
The surgery center docs own a property adjacent to the surgery center - duplex - 3 bedroom, so CRNAs could stay here, or they would cover travel.
Comfortable practicing independently
Comfortable doing nerve blocks
The main blocks the CRNA will perform are Interscalenes with occasional supraclavicular, infraclavicular, and axillary (We also do adductor canal, genicular PENG, and popliteal blocks), and occasionally TAP blocks
Also, will place interscalene and adductor canal catheters
Types of cases - ambulatory surgery center, so no big, complicated cases like a hospital
1 day a month, the neuro ortho surgeon does 1 Thursday a month, but they may have someone to cover that
A lot of general surgery, hernias, eyes, ears, sinus, ortho general, colonoscopies, do NOT do urology
Patients per day vary - last year, they did 2800 annually
Hours:
Procedures start at 7:30 would need to be there at 7 at the latest, just to be ready at 7:30
Occasionally OT - time and a half - anything over 40 in a week or 8 in a day
Credentialing: they do their own - can get the committees together quickly - Alaska does primary source verifications on all licensed - so we can do this in days
Will cover full Travel, Airfare, lodging, and Car rental
Active AK Medical License, and the client will consider licensing candidates.
