We’re seeking two board-certified Anesthesiologists for an inpatient assignment in Southern Arizona. Providers must be comfortable working independently and performing peripheral nerve blocks. This position requires availability for nights, weekends, and call shifts (note: no nights or call at the Sahuarita location). Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility and hold an active Arizona license.

Schedule & Work Details:

Flexible coverage including nights, weekends, and call

4 ORs; adult patient population

Average 5 patients per shift

Must have recent case logs for peripheral nerve blocks

EMR: Cerner

Required Skills:

General, adult, neurosurgical & complex ortho/vascular cases

Ventilation management, acute volume/BP management

Peripheral nerve blocks (training not provided)

Practice Setting: Inpatient
Support Staff: Yes
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
License Required: Active AZ license

• Specialized Case Mix: High-acuity surgical cases, including neurosurgery, complex ortho, and vascular (excluding open heart).
• Autonomy & Skill Utilization: Independent practice with a focus on peripheral nerve blocks—must be fully trained and experienced.
