California Anesthesiologist Opening | Predominantly Working Solo

Job description

Providers will be floated between facility’s sister sites, working high acuity inpatient centers as well as options for ambulatory surgery centers. Providers must be able to cover both inpatient and outpatient procedures.

Contract Length: 26+ weeks
Work Details:
• Support staff: CRNA
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-Time preferred, minimum of 2 weeks/mo required
• Patient population/age: adults and adolescents 13yo+
• Department description: Hospital OR coverage, sees all types of cases
• EMR: EPIC

• Skills required:
Regional skills strongly preferred but not required

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required. Willing to consider truly board-eligible, especially if they’re fellowship trained.
• State license required: Yes, State of CA
• DEA: Yes, CA with Schedule 2/2n
• CSR: N/A
• Certifications preferred: BLS, ACLS - must be AHA
• Certifications required:
• Minimum experience required:
• Must have at least 2 years anesthesiology experience.
• Must have recent experience at tertiary care centers
• Will predominantly work solo in the operating room, only occasionally overseeing CRNAs


Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
Interview Expectations (how many?): 1 – 2
