Locum CRNA needed in Pismo Beach, CA

Schedule/Availability Requirements:
-Start Date: ASAP - by 9/1
-Shift times: ~6-8 hours
-Schedule: Monday through Friday starts 8a-5p
-Any call? Not required, but potentially available at adjacent affiliated non-trauma hospital if desired
-Duration of assignment: Temporary or permanent


-Setting: Ambulatory surgery center on Central coast of California 5 minutes from the beach, moderate year-round climate, lots of outdoor activities, family friendly community.
Duties: Options include providing anesthesia full-time for GI, or combined GI and multidisciplinary outpatient surgery. Experience with regional blocks helpful but not required. CRNA will do their own cases unsupervised!

-Required Procedures: Conscious sedation for GI. Optional, but not required, multidisciplinary outpatient surgery could include general anesthesia and regional blocks.

-EMR: No formal EMR, but digital charts used and are accessible online.
Reason for Coverage: Transitioning to incorporate CRNA's in a well-established ambulatory surgery center

Credentialing Information:
-Timeframe: ASAP/by start date

Requirements:
-Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? No

Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:
-Admissions per day: NA
-Patients/day: 12–15 GI cases and 4–8 ambulatory surgery cases.
-Types of cases: GI. Potential opportunity for general surgery, orthopedic, urology, ENT, GYN, podiatry.
-CRNA will do their own cases unsupervised!
-Practice model: Independent
