CRNA Locum Opportunity – Los Angeles, CA
Job description
Start Date: March 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks / Ongoing (until permanent staff is hired)
Credentialing Timeframe: 4+ months (client exploring emergency privileging options)
Coverage Details:
Schedule: Weekdays and weekends
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7 shifts/week total coverage needed)
Options include 3x12s and 4x12s combinations or flexible blocked shifts
Call: None
Practice Setting:
Community hospital with a care team model (1:1 with anesthesiologist)
Clinical Details:
Case Types: OB (must be comfortable with C-sections and epidurals), GI, Neurology, GYN, Interventional Radiology
No hearts or transplants
“Heavy” bread and butter cases
Patient Population: Primarily adults, ASA 3 and above, underserved community, mostly Spanish-speaking
Average Volume: Approximately 5–6 cases per shift; OB is the primary focus (avg. 2–3 epidurals/day + C-section volume varies)
Procedures Required: None outside of standard CRNA scope
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
License: Active California license only (no licensing assistance)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NBCRNA certification required
