CRNA – Float Pool – Southern Metro – Connecticut – 5x8s, 4x10s, or 3x12s

Region: Southern Connecticut – major metro area, float pool assignment

Details:
- Start date: as soon as credentials are issued
- Contract length: 6 months, no exceptions
- Schedule options include 5x8s, 4x10s, or 3x12s
- Shifts run 7a–3p, 7a–5p, or 9a–9p (New Haven only)
- Must be available for any 3 days per week, including Fridays
- Preference for candidates who can pick up weekend shifts
- CRNAs will be supervised by anesthesiologists
- Daily caseload averages 10–12 cases
- High-acuity case mix including General, Ortho, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Gastro, Urologic, Gyn, Ophthalmologic, ENT, and healthy peds
- EMR: Epic
- Hospital size: 1,500+ beds
- Level 1 trauma center, academic training environment
Requirements:
- Board certification required
- Active license not required at time of submission – open to licensing
- DEA required
- CSR not required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience, no exceptions
- Must be comfortable with all high-acuity case types listed above
- Candidates must have clean backgrounds – no malpractice or license issues
- Credentialing takes up to 120 days
- Physician references required from every facility worked as a CRNA
Important Notes:
- Client does not cover itemized travel or lodging
- All-inclusive pay model
- Weekly incentive: $500/week for first 6-month contract, $1,000/week for second contract
- Extra shift incentive: $1,000/shift for 4+ additional 10-hour shifts beyond full-time schedule
- Float pool coverage includes multiple locations within the system
