CRNA & Anesthesiologist Needed in Fort Pierce, Florida
Job description
Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
Start: as soon as credentialed
13-weeks with the option to extend
CRNA job details:
Shift Details: Need for 2 FT Locums CRNA's to cover Lawnwood for 3-12 hour shifts per week. Providers must be willing to cover weekends as part of their regular shifts when needed and participate with call rotation.
Work Details:
Staffing Model: 9 MD/27 CRNA
Ratio of MD:CRNA –Ratio: 1:4; Cardiac 1:2. Mid-Levels function independently
Care Team Model. Physician Supervising 100% of time. 5% of time Physician covers own cases.
Daily Patient Volume: Weekday Avg. 50 cases/day; Weekend Avg. 13
Types of Cases: Trauma Level 2. Majority patients ages neonatal to geriatric. ASA III. ASA IV. Cardiac Surgery, ElectroPhys, Structural Heart, Neuro, Internventional rad, High Rosk OB/GYN, Level III NICU, Peds.
Moderate to High Acuity cases, busy volume.
Support Staff: Techs, Nursing, Mid-Level, CRNA, Anesthesia Techs
Candidate Parameters:
Specific fellowships/certifications/procedures/competencies we are looking for? General, Cardiac, Peds, Trauma, OB. Central Line, Arterial line, Peripheral Nerve Block, Spinals, Epidurals
BE or BC
Credentialing & Orientation
MSO will offer temp and emergency privileges.
Orientation done on first day or prior: Day 1 On-Site/Paired with another Mid-Level/Phys. Expectation is Day 2 to run room solo.
· Day shift is 5 PHYS and 16 CRNA’s covering 13 sites of service + Trauma + OB on weekdays.
· Weekends 1 PHYS + 3 CRNA (daylight) 3 sites of service / Nights 1 PHYS + 1 CRNA 2 sites of service.
Back Up PHYS and CRNA on beeper during weekends if needed.
Care Team Model
Systems Used: Medaxion, Qgenda, Meditech
Practice Setting:
• Hospital
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License required: FL license in hand, no exceptions
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days, temps may be available
Anesthesiologist job details:
Shift Details: ***Lawnwood is in need of 6 FT locums MD's who may be willing to convert to W2 in the future. Providers must be able to provide FT availability for shifts plus call coverage.***

7a-5p M-F, first call 7p-7a in house, second call 12p-8p - working cases then covering beeper from 8p-7a, weekend call 7a-7a beeper
1500-1700 9 sites of service (inclusive of Cardiac, trauma OB and Pedi)
1700-1900 8 sites of service (inclusive of Cardiac, trauma OB and Pedi)
After 1900 3 sites of service - 2 in house, 1 MD on back up. (inclusive of Cardiac, trauma OB and Pedi)
Call Required? Yes, beeper call. MDs must be able to do OB cases in order to take call. If they cannot do OB cases, they are not a candidate for this position.
