CRNA Locum Needed in Boise, ID

Location: Boise, ID
Start Date: Upon completion of credentialing
Contract Length: 3 months (continuous coverage preferred) with the option to extend
Schedule: Locums receive a 6-week schedule at a time
• Full-time only (facility is not considering part-time locums)
• 40-hour workweek with shifts varying between 8s, 10s, and 12s (OT after 45 hours)
• Required to work at least one weekend shift per 3 months (will replace two weekday shifts that week)

Call Requirements:
• Night Call: 2 weekday nights or 1 full weekend per month (Sat & Sun)
• Additional Weekend Call: 1 per 3 months (replaces 2 weekday shifts that week)

Work Details:
• Coverage Needed: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics (90%+ over age 12)
• Department: 17 Main ORs, 7 DSC, plus specials, cath labs, endo, and radiology
• Supervision Model: Max 4:1 ratio (Independent model available at a nearby campus but includes OB cases)
• Skills Required: GYN, general surgery, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, lungs, healthy peds, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, endo, interventional radiology, MRI
• Excluded Cases: No burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds, or OB
• Procedures Performed by CRNAs:
o Spinal blocks (no epidurals or central lines)
o Occasional arterial lines (not required)

Scrubs: Provided by the department

Requirements:
• Board Certification: BC required
• License: Open to licensing candidates
• CSR: Yes
• Minimum Experience: 1 year
• Credentialing Timeline: ~30 days if licensed; up to 60 days if non-licensed (pending state license)
