Full-Time Locum CRNA – Multi-Specialty ORs, Boise, ID
Job description
Contract & Schedule:
Preferred contract length: 6 months to 1 year, with continuous full-time coverage.
Weekly hours: 40 hours/week, varying between 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, plus 24-hour + 16-hour shifts as needed.
Call: 1 weekend shift and 2 weeknight shifts per month; option to swap 1 Sat/Sun regular shift every 3 months to replace a call shift.
Scheduling: 6-week rotation schedule provided in advance.
Practice & Patient Population:
Patient ages: Adolescent through geriatric; 90% of patients are over 12 years old.
Department: 17 Main ORs, 7 DSCs, plus specials, cath labs, endoscopy, radiology.
Anesthesia type: Supervision-based anesthesia; CRNAs perform spinal blocks, occasional arterial lines; no epidurals, central lines, or independent regional anesthesia.
Hospital: 378 beds, EMR: EPIC.
Case & Skill Requirements:
Surgical areas: Gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, crani, plastics, lung, healthy pediatrics, ophthalmology, GI, structural hearts, EP, endoscopy, interventional radiology, MRI.
Exclusions: Burns, transplants, open heart, sick pediatrics, OB.
Trauma: Must be comfortable with Level II trauma cases.

- Supervision-based anesthesia with occasional procedural opportunities (spinals, arterial lines).
